FROME RUNNING CLUB OCTOBER RACE REPORT October has been a very busy month for Frome Running Club members who have competed in a number of races across the country, covering various distances and terrains. On October 30 th , Lynn Brand and Rachel Bala completed a 10 mile race entitled The Stickler. This involved tackling the infamous Stickle Path and ascending three peaks along the Stour Valley. Lynn finished in 1:49:25 and Rachel in 1:56:36. Very well done ladies!   Rachel and Lynn in Dorset                                                                                                                   Barrie Knight and Jason Burns with their medals for the Oxford Half Marathon On 16 th October, Barrie Knight and Jason Burns travelled to Oxford to compete in the Oxford Half Marathon. Barrie (M70-74) finished in a stunning time of 1:52:36 (beating his last time by a mighty second!). Meanwhile, Jason Burns (M 50-54) finished the course in 1:56:13. Ben Spicer a
