  Frome Running Club Race report September 2022 Paul Horton and Rachel Bala took on the challenge of the Great Bristol Half Marathon on 25th September. Paul crossed the line in a very quick time of 1:28:16. Equally impressive was Rachel’s finish time of 2:04:50. Paul Horton with his half marathon medal at the end of the Great Bristol Half Marathon   On Saturday 17 th September, George Leroy, Sally Brooker, Anne Porter, Ben Spicer ran a new Relish Running race, a downhill 10km challenge in Cheddar Gorge. Frome Running Club Summer Report

  Frome Running Club Summer Report Frome Running Club was unable to hold the Mells Scenic 7 race this year, so instead, on Sunday 4 th September, 25 intrepid FRC runners set off in 3 groups to run the course and all returned! Thanks go to Vicki, Dave, Lynn and Ian for leading the groups and preventing anyone getting lost. Also, many thanks to Vicki and Lynn for the post run cakes! Frome runners ready for the Mells Scenic 7 route   Frome runners enjoying the Mells Scenic 7 route                         Frome Runners at the Warminster Carnival Chase 4 th September                 This event supports Warminster Carnival and takes runners down country lanes, tracks and trails, starting and finishing at the boating lake. Ted Sprules ran a great 10km race in Warminster, finishing in 10 th place in a time of 42:36.
